Walker enters Moto 1

World Superbike star Chris Walker heads the list of stars signing up for the Moto 1 event at Mallory Park on October 15 and 16, 2005.

Walker is an ex-schoolboy motocross star, so should be suited to the challenges which includes Supermoto and Trials events on the Saturday, and Road Racing and Motocross on the Sunday. Saturday also featrues a surprise special event to really test competitiors.

Also signed up are Dixon Yamaha motocross star Billy MacKenzie, trials ace Steve Colley and Supermoto ace Ady Smith. They’ll also be joined by the three winners of the Dunlop Ultimate Biker competition, which is currently underway. This has seen 24 non-racers compete for their chance to race against the stars, and after four rounds, the selection process is down to just six hopefuls. This number will be halved through a further rigourous testing process, and you can follow the progress, here.

Last year victory went to Enduro racer David Knight in the Dunlop-sponsored event.
