ACU chief exec resigns

The chief executive of the governing body or UK bike sport – the ACU – has resigned after three and half year in the job.

ACU Chairman Jim Parker said: "While it is obviously a great disappointment, to both me and the ACU, that Neil has decided to move on, his decision is understood and respected. Neil is a dynamic and industrious individual who rightly retains an ambitious streak and it is that ambition that has resulted in his decision to leave. On behalf of everyone within the ACU I wish to thank him for all he has done and to wish him every success in his future.”

The ACU is now starting the process of seeking a replacement.
