Yamaha join Moto1

Yamaha has joined Honda in providing machinery for the Moto1 event on october 30-31 at Donington Park.

The two-day competition will pit 24 of Britain’s top motorcycle stars across all discplines against each other, with road racing, motocross, trials and supermoto events, to find the best all-rounder.

Yamaha will be providing Yamaha R6 bikes for the road racing element, WR450Fs for the supermoto events, and YZ125s for the motocross sections.

“Yamahas support is great news for Moto1,” said event MD Robbie Allan. “The Yamaha team were one of the first to throw their weight behind Moto1.”

Moto1 runs from 9am-4.30pm each day, with other attractions including the final round of the World Stunt Riding championship, a National Supermoto race, and a World Long Jump record attempt. For more information, contact: 01555 893405.
