Moto1 line-up expands

Talented young British Supersport riders Craig Jones, Cal Crutchlow and Tom Sykes are all set for a private battle in Moto1 after the three confirmed their entries earlier for the October 30-31 event.

Former Grand Prix star Donnie McLeod and multi Isle of Man TT winner Jim Moodie have joined the line-up for the Donington Park event too – on the organisational side

McLeod will judge the final round of the World Stunt Riding Championship which takes place at the event. 28 riders from 14 countries are now confirmed for final showdown on Sunday at 12.30pm. They include championship leader Christian Pfeiffer.

Moodie will be among the officials running the event – which pitches racers from different disciplines against each other in road racing, motocross, supermoto and trials.

The Purple Helmets will close the Moto1 proceedings each day and £1.4m worth of machinery will be in show in a hectic, 18-race programme of Classic Motorcycle Racing Club races , too.
