Rizla 1-2 at Knockhill

Rizla Suzuki riders John Reynolds and Yukio Kagayama have taken first and second places on the grid for the Knockhill BSB round after torrential rain caused the final qualifying sessions to be abandoned.

Organisers opted to take the grid positions from the dry morning qualifying session which saw Reynolds beat his team-mate to the top spot by 0.2 seconds despite both riders only completing eight laps each.

Michael Rutter will start the races in third place with temporary Virgin Yamaha rider James Haydon getting his best start this season with fourth place on the grid.

Scott Smart, Gary Mason, Sean Emmett and John McGuinness make up the second row.
