Join Jefferies’ memorial lap at TT
The David Jefferies Memorial Lap will be on the Isle of Man on June 6 from 1pm. All are welcome to ride in it.
Multi TT winner and lap record holder Jefferies died, aged 30, in practice for last year’s TT.
The proposed arrangements are that the Grandstand pit area will be reserved on Sunday morning. No one should arrive before 11.30am. The organisors are trying to get authorization for other areas around The Grandstand to be used for parking.
The Procession will be led by Pauline and Louise (Dave’s Mum and
Sister), a number of race bikes and a police vehicle. Everyone should remain behind the lead vehicle at all times.
The procession will leave at 1pm and follow the TT course with usual road traffic laws applying. There will be an area around the paddock area to purchase DJ Stickers, T-Shirts etc to help towards his memorial fund. Further updates will be made on Radio TT close to the time.
If the F1 is postponed until the Sunday then the event will not go
ahead, also if the weather is too bad with fog on the mountain then
again the event will not go ahead.
