Kagayama and Reynolds test at Snet

1 of 1

The cold weather caused a few problems for John Reynolds and Yukio Kagayama as they tested their new GSX-R1000 bikes at Snetterton on Wednesday.

The two riders each put in 30 laps at the circuit but neither managed to get their tyres warm enough to get any closer than two seconds outside the lap record. Instead they concentrated on testing braking setups. Both riders concluded they would be use SBS brake pads for the coming season.

It was the first time that Kagayama had ridden at Snetterton.

Reynolds said: ” To ride in these cold conditions and still be within two seconds of the lap record is really positive. We were taking it very easy. ”
