Kagayama on pole for Oulton

Yukio Kagayama has returned from the Suzuka Eight Hours to put his Rizla Suzuki on pole for the Oulton Park British Superbike races on Sunday.

Kagayama posted a time of 1:36.738, putting him in front of Michael Rutter (1:36.955), Sean Emmett (1:37.158) and John Reynolds (1:37.180). Current championship leader Shane Byrne will be looking to wrap up the championship this weekend, but will have his work cut out starting from fifth. Sixth is Gary Mason, seventh Steve Plater and eighth Leon Haslam.
