Young intends to make most of factory invite

Superstock champion Paul Young is hoping that a visit to the Suzuki factory will help him pick up some special parts for the GSX-R1000 he’s building for this year’s BSB campaign.

” Suzuki have invited everyone who’s won a major championship on their bikes for a celebration. It seems that they assumed that I was an official Suzuki rider and not a privateer, so it’s good to get the recognition from the factory. We’ll spend a day touring the factory, so I’ll get to meet the bosses and, hopefully, it will lead to me getting some extra support this season. ”

British Supersport champion Karl Harris will also be at the event, as will American superbike champ Mat Mladin, his Japanese counterpart Akira Ryo and world 250 motocross champion Mickael Pichon.
