Hislop takes double win at Brands

The dominant Scot took double race wins at Brands Hatch round of the MCN-backed British Superbike Championship.

Race one was led early on by Paul Brown on the IFC Ducati. Hislop came past on lap two and maintained his lead ahead of a closing John Reynolds. Reynolds was unable to quite bridge the gap, and backmarkers did little to help him as Hislop pulled out a 1.7 second lead. Paul Brown managed a good third position.

Race two began with Michael Rutter taking the lead, until Hislop again forced his way through at around a third of the race distance. Second and third were again taken by an IFC Ducati and a Rizla Suzuki, only this time Sean Emmett steered his IFC Ducati into second, with Reynolds third.
