Team manager quits Red Bull Ducati… for Sauber?

1 of 1

Red Bull Ducati team manager Nigel Bosworth quit his post on Tuesday, November 6, less than a month after leading John Reynolds to the British Superbike title.

Insiders now believe Bosworth will join the ambitious Sauber WSB project and, although he won’t admit it, he did say: ” At the moment I’m unable to disclose any more information because I’ve had to sign a secrecy agreement. As soon as I can tell you more I will. ”

We understand everyone involved in the Sauber project has been asked to sign a similar agreement until the time is right.

The former British 250 runner-up joined the team at the start of the season as a replacement for former British champion Roger Marshall and his outstanding technical ability is said to have been instrumental in leading John Reynolds to the championship.

Team owner Ben Atkins thanked Bosworth for his contribution and confirmed that he would be speaking to potential replacements over the coming weeks.
