Lampkin resigns for Montesa-HRC

World indoor and outdoor trials champion Dougie Lampkin has resigned for Montesa-HRC for the 2002 season.

The contract runs until 2003. Lampkin also holds the English and Spanish trials titles, picked up along his way this year.

He is aiming to beat the record of Jordi Tarres, who won seven world titles. Lampkin has five consecutive outdoor and five consecutive indoor titles.

He rides a Montesa Cota 315R.
