John Reynolds webchat transcript now added

2001 British Superbike champion John Reynolds is considering ditching his Ducati for a four-cylinder bike to defend his title on, he revealed in a live web chat on this site on Wednesday lunchtime.

Reynolds said nothing had been firmed-up for next year and he’s waiting to see what Red Bull Ducati team boss Ben Atkins decides. And, answering your questions, he said Atkins is by no means certain to stick with the V-twin Dukes. ” They are very expensive to run, ” he added.

He talked of his sadness at the departure of team manager Nigel Bosworth, and how he had initially hated team-mate Sean Emmett’s guts… before he got to know him.
