Krämer Motorcycles used their platform at the recent EICMA trade show in Milan to launch a new naked track bike, set to arrive with customers from Spring next year.

The snappily named GP2-890 XX will cost a hefty €50,000 (including VAT) and is based on the firm’s fully faired GP2-890R.

As before, it’s powered by 889cc parallel twin motor from KTM’s 890 Duke R – producing a claimed 136.1bhp at 10,100rpm and 73.8lb.ft of torque at 8200rpm.

“The Krämer GP2-890 XX marks a bit of a departure for the Krämer Motorcycles brand as it is our first hyper naked model without fairings, and it is a bike that is aimed more at trackday riders than weekend racers,” CEO Markus Krämer said.

The bike follows a run of 10 special build nakeds revealed in January of this year, inspired by the American Super Hooligan racing championship for heavily modified upright motorcycles.

“The Krämer GP2-890 XX aims to give these track riders a more purpose-built motorcycle for this segment of circuit riding,” the CEO continued, “in the same way our other motorcycles have in their model segments.”

Enhancing the sound of the parallel twin engine is a two into one exhaust system with stainless steel headers, and a titanium muffler producing 105dB of noise. You also get nine levels of traction control, five stages of wheelie control, and a pitlane speed limiter for full race bike authenticity.

Kerb weight is said to be just 140kg, with 16 litres of fuel onboard, and a set of carbon fibre 17in BST rims. Further features also include carbon bodywork, an up/down quickshifter, and Brembo Stylema front calipers.
