Fantic UK have announced a great new deal on their current range of Caballero 500 machines.

All variants of the retro-styled single bought before December 31 will benefit from not only an £800 discount/finance contribution but also come with a free two-year extension to the warranty – taking it from two to four years.

This means that the Caballero Scrambler and Flat Track 500 models, both previously £6749 OTR, now cost £5949.

Meanwhile, the Scrambler 500 Deluxe goes from £6949 to £6149, the Scrambler 500 50th Anniversary from £7099 to £6299, and the Rally 500 from £7399 to £6599. If you fancy an Explorer 500, that’s gone from £7649 to £6849.

Introduced 2019, the Scrambler 500 is a retro-inspired street bike playing on the heritage of the revived Italian brand’s 1970s trail bikes. They use a Chinese-produced 39bhp, 449cc liquid-cooled single in a stylish, nimble and fun chassis.

The deal also applies to PCP or HP finance purchases.

The new ‘Explorer’ version of Fantic’s Caballero 500 scrambler is now on sale in the UK priced at £7649. The Explorer is a higher-spec, more rugged version of the ‘retro-mod’ Caballero launched in 2019.

The new variant has the same punchy 39bhp liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, nimble scrambler chassis with modern suspension and radial brakes plus ‘70s-inspired styling, but adds luggage rack and trendy left-side pannier carrier.

The 150kg machine also gets a high-mounted front mudguard, new cross-braced handlebars, small flyscreen with headlamp grille and bespoke bronze/white paint.

Off-road friendly Michelin Anakee Wild tyres are fitted to the spoked 19in front and 17in rear wheels and Fantic’s own USD forks and rear shock offer compression and preload adjustment.

Finally, a high-level Arrow exhaust finished the retro scrambler look and will probably make the 449cc sound the part, too.
