Special Moto Morini Corsaro Ti22 revealed

Alongside the new Milano, Moto Morini have also revealed a one-off special inspired by the endurance racers of the 1970s.

Called the Corsaro Ti22, the bike is the first special Morini have built based on the Corsaro ZZ, and – as you might have guessed from the name – features titanium. More specifically, the absolutely stunning custom-made exhaust system is made from the stuff.

To give it that authentic 1970s look, a round headlight replaces the dual projector headlights used on the standard Corsaro ZZ, and the light is housed in a small aluminium fairing which has been hand-beaten. The fuel tank and single seat cowl are also made from aluminium.

The top yoke is machine from a solid block and features the double M logo, just beneath the full colour dash, which adds just a touch of modernity to the retro machine. The forged wheels of the Corsaro ZZ have been replaced with wire-spoked wheels, which are fitted with Pirelli Superbike tyres.

The engine has been left alone, so it still pumps out 139bhp, and the Brembo brakes also remain the same. Brake and clutch levers have been replaced by carbon fibre items.
