Free BikeTrac with Ducati 959 Panigale
Ducati are giving customers who buy a new 959 Panigale before June 30th 2017 a free BikeTrac security system, which tracks the movements of the bike should it be moved without the key in the ignition.
The promotion includes the BikeTrac system, as well as a subscription for the first year and fitting of the system by your dealer. The device normally costs £299 and a year’s subscription is £99 or £9.99 a month.

BikeTrac had a recovery rate of 92% in 2016, with 276 bikes recovered. If the system detects movement of your bike it communicates with BikeTrac’s 24 hour operations centre, who then alert you via text, phone and email. The support centre then liase with the authorities to pinpoint the location of your bike.
The BikeTrac system can also detect when you have an accident and will automatically notify your contacts.
In 2014 MCN ‘stole’ a bike fitted with the BikeTrac system and hid it in a nearby garage, while members of the BikeTrac team searched for the bike. You can watch the full video below.
