Electric motorcycle manufacturer Energica is set to release a new road bike, which it showed as a ‘concept’ model at EICMA in Italy to gauge public opinion.

The Esse 9, which is named after a road that crosses the area of Modena where Energica are based, is a scrambler style of naked bike with high quality Öhlins suspension and spoked wheels. If customers demand the bike, Energica will build it in early 2017 as it is effectively the current Eva model with a restyle and new seat.
