BMW unveils Tyco Racing BSB road replica

BMW has created a limited-edition Tyco BMW Race Replica which has become the highest-specification S1000RR in the range in the UK.

The bike is painted in an exact replica of the 2016 Tyco race bike from the British Superbike (BSB) series and has been decked out in more than £3000 of BMW High Performance parts and accessories. Just 75 examples of the bike will be created at a cost of £21,240 and orders are open now at all official BMW dealers.

BMW’s press release explains: “The Tyco BMW Race Replica features performance-enhancing factory-fit options Dynamic Damping Control, Dynamic Traction Control and Gear Shift Assist Pro.

“Additionally, it offers a range of hand-picked accessories from the BMW High Performance range including HP Footrests, HP Clutch and Brake Levers and a road-legal Akrapovič Sports Silencer. 

“The all-round abilities of the S 1000 RR are also improved with Cruise Control, Heated Grips and an Anti-Theft Alarm. As with the standard S 1000 RR Sport, the pillion seat and pegs have been removed to save weight and offer that true race bike look.”
