Aggressive new Z1000 unveiled in Milan

Kawasaki has just unveiled this significantly new Z1000 super naked at the Milan Show.

Although not completely new – the basic engine and chassis are unchanged, for example – Kawasaki’s super naked has received a raft of changes to the powertrain, chassis, equipment and, most obviously, styling which effectively renders it an all-new machine.

The key changes are as follows:

• sharper styling
• improved throttle response
• improved induction noise
• sharper handling via adoption of Big Piston forks
• uprated braking via new radial-mount monobloc calipers
• improved ergonomics
