Moto Morini Rebello 1200 revealed

Moto Morini has revealed the all-new Rebello 1200, less than a year after the firm was rescued from bankruptcy.

The Rebello 1200 was slowly revealed piece by piece over a month, and now the final piece has been revealed, a promo video has also been released.

The Rebello is powered by a 1200cc V-twin engine, making a claimed 130bhp. Moto Morini have used fully-adjustable Marzocchi upside down forks at the front, and a fully-adjustable Ohlins shock at the rear. Brakes are supplied by Brembo.

In between close up shots of the new bike, the video (below) also shows an innovative, adjustable seat hump. In pictures, the Rebello is shown with no pillion seat, but the seat hump actually slides backwards – apparently electronically – to reveal a rather uncomfy looking pillion seat.

A bizarrely complex bidding process will determine who gets a chance to buy one of the bikes. It started on March 15 at www.motomorinimotorcycles.eu and lasts for 30 days.
