MCN Motorcycle Show: New "Urban sports bike" unveiled

A new zero-emissions urban sports bike has been unveiled at The Carole Nash MCN Motorcycle Show.

The Agility Saietta – which means Thunderbolt in a regional Italian dialect – promises the power of a Monster 796 with the silent, affordable running of an electric bike.

Two-and-a-half years in development, creator Lawrence Marazzi hopes to start producing the machine by May, for a late-2011 release date.

It will come in two versions: a lower cost model with “the power of a 600cc single” [9975] and a upscale version with “the power of an 800cc twin”.
