You bought their kitchens. Will you buy their bikes?

The Ikea incursion has seen the Swedish way of life occupy our homes and give us undreamt-of storage options. Now they’re after your garage, as long defunct brand Swedish brand Ockelbo ponders a revival.

Former snowmobile-maker Ockelbo has been helped by a group of students from the Umeå Institute of Design, who’ve created a range of concept bikes aimed at reanimating the name.

Of them, our vote goes to the Dirt Tracker, which designer Yujin Kim says aims to off the rider the chance “to experience two thrills, drifting on the track and cornering (legally) on the road”. Good aim, nice bike. Which aisle do we pick it up from?
