New Husqvarna SMS4 125 is pukka first supermoto

Husqvarna has launched a new 125 supermoto with race-bred looks and surprisingly high spec components in a package as aggressive-looking as one of the firm’s chainsaws.

The SMS4 125 pumps out the legal limit 15bhp from its liquid-cooled 125 motor, features beefy 40mm upside-down forks, CrMo steel tube frame, multi-function LCD dash and weighs 117kg.

It costs £3595 (subject to confirmation) – not cheap, but arguably far better value than the mere lookie-likies that constitute many of its rivals.
