Track day Bimota HB4 nearly ready

Bimota’s HB4 Moto2 contender will soon be available as an ultra-exclusive track-day bike, and here it is in preparation.

The bikes are powered by 140bhp World Supersport-spec engines so are more powerful than the Moto2 racers themselves. They’re being prepared by Germany’s Bimota importer under license from the factory and look set to cost a scary £146,000.

Boss Denis Hertrampf says: “I ordered a chassis from Bimota with the intention of racing in Moto2 next year. But once I had it I realised there would be demand for such a beautiful, exclusive machine as a track day bike.

“I think it’s one of the most beautiful bikes I’ve ever seen”.
