Official Ben Spies Yamaha R1 and Cal Crutchlow R6 replica

Yamaha’s French importer has unveiled official Ben Spies and Cal Crutchlow race-replicas celebrating the pair’s World Superbike and World Supersport success.

The Ben Spies replica is based on mechanically-standard 2009 Yamaha R1, and faithfully replicates the factory Sterilgarda-sponsored livery.

The Cal Crutchlow replica is based on a 2009-spec Yamaha R6, which is also mechanically unchanged and matches the racer’s paint right down to the gold wheels.

Just ten of each will be sold, costing £2000 over the standard R1 and £988 more for the Crutchlow R6. It’s not known whether Yamaha will sell a similar bike in the UK.
