We’ve just arrived at the hotel in preparation of the world launch of the Ducati StreetFighter at the Ascari circuit in Spain.

The standard StreetFighter is parked in reception looking masculine compared to even the beautiful lines of the air cooled Ducati Monster 1100.
Although the bike pictured is the standard bike from 11am we will will be riding the higher specification S model which comes with Ohlin’s front and rear suspension and a host of carbon fibre extras and darker colour exhaust pipes.

Ducati test rider Vittoriano Guareschi has been setting up the bikes at the circuit and he is incredibly excited about how they have performed.
This is the man Ducati and Casey Stoner use to develop Stoner’s carbon fibre MotoGP bike, so he is not easily impressed even if his wages are paid for by Ducati.
