MCN reader Richard Owen shot this new video and picture of the Norton NRV588 rotary race bike at Donington this week.
The bike was testing on a public track day with factory rider Michael Dunlop, who will race the motorcycle at the Isle of Man TT this year. Owen told MCN:
“The bike sounds awesome! Michael was riding it in the morning but only lasted 2 laps as the bike sounded sick.
“They took it away then came back at lunch time with a rider called ‘Dicko’ who you see in the video struggling to keep the front down.
“Word was it was putting out 160bhp at the back wheel! He only lasted about 3 laps though as the exhaust broke. ”
