Mission Motors announce 150mph electric bike

Mission Motors have unveiled a new electric motorcycle with a stated top speed of 150mph and 100 lb-ft torque and a single speed.

Front and rear suspension is from Öhlins and the brakes are from Brembo. The wheels are Marchesini, with the front taking a 120/70ZR17 tyre and the rear 190/55ZR17. The range is apparently 150 miles from a <2 hour charge.

The Mission One was designed by Yves Béhar – who also designed the OLPC XO laptop. It will be ‘Wireless Enabled’ so that the rider can download telemetry and update system parameters from their laptop. Misson say that it will be appearing at the Isle of Man on the 12th June in the carbon free TTXGP race.
