The new Ducati Multistrada 1200 will cost £10,995 in its standard spec, it has been confirmed today.
Ducati UK manager Tim Maccabee hinted it would carry a £10,000 plus price when the GS rival was launched in Milan in November, but this has now been confirmed.
The two trick S versions, the Sport and Touring models will cost between £13,995 and £14,395, with prices still to be confirmed.
These prices place the bike firmly in competition with rivals the BMW R1200GS and the KTM 990 SMT.
The standard 1200 GS costs £9,925 and the Adventure £10,745, while the SMT is £9,795 or £10,895 for the R model.
The Multistrada, which has been the hit of the NEC Bike Show, will be available in Spring next year.
These prices also reflect the VAT increase to 17.5%, which takes place on January 1.
