My new GSX-R750 - better than I'd hope for
It was a cold wet saturday afternoon but that did not stop me going to pick up my new K8 GSX-R750.
I was trading up from a K6 GSX-R600 and I must admit that this new bike had a lot to live up to.
As soon as I left the dealer I could feel the bike still felt as comfy and precise as the bike i had just left behind. As it was wet and blowing a gale I had the excuse to use the lowest of the three map settings, something I don’t plan on using much.
The bike felt refined and smoother and to my surprise it turned in quicker. The new exaust was much quieter than the K6, iIwould of peferred a bit more bark.
As I approaced home I thought to myself that this bike is every hing you could want in a bike.
I think Suzuki are very clever, not only have they captured a unique market they are also providing a superbike that looks like no other.
The bike is now on the drive and I hang around it trying to think of reasons not to put it away in the garage. Maybe it will be nice next weekend, so I can give it a good running in Ha Ha.
