Megamoto to compete

Three BMW Megamotos will participate in this years Belgain Moto Tour from May 16 – 19.

This will be the first competitive appearance for the radical new BMW on a World Championship stage.

Brothers, Eric and Fred Lejeune will pilot two of the bikes while the third bike will be handed to former GP rider, Didier De Radigues.

Radigues rode in GP’s for 11 years and now a run a Honda backed race school, similar to that of Ron Haslam in the UK, and is a highly regarded television presenter in Belgium.

The Moto Tour is a two-day endurance ride where competitors have to reach checkpoints in a set amount of time, covering well over 600 miles including some tricky special stages on the way.

One of the stages will be held at the Spa Francorchamps circuit, and there’s also a special stage to be held at night.
