Vyrus unleashed

Italian hub-centre steering specialists Vyrus have unveiled special editions of the 984 C3.

Vyrus originally worked alongside Bimota on the development of the Tesi and its hub-centre steering system, but split from the firm and finished the development, marketing the bike as its own.

The Black Rocket is a higher spec version of the Ducati DS1000 powered 984 C3, with a power increase from 90bhp to 100bhp engine and titanium fasteners to shave off a few grams from its weight.

The alloy parts are anodised black to give the bike a meaner look.

The Captain America 984 C3 is mechanically standard, but with a wacky new paint scheme. The Ducati engine is unchanged, and the standard fitment of a quick-shifter is retained.
