KR V5 custom unveiled

Legendary American chopper builder Roland Sands has revealed his 220bhp V5 engined board tracker at the Laguna Seca MotoGP round.

Sands slotted the Team Roberts V5 engine – one of 15 the team built for MotoGP – into a custom bike that has been built as a collaboration between Sands, Team Roberts and the Discovery Channel as part of the Great Biker Build Off television show.

Sands first previewed the bike at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with another of his incredible creations, No Regrets. He was the winner of the 2005 series of the show which pitches custom bike builders against each other.
