VFR tops sales charts

Honda’s VFR800 is currently the most popular new bike in the UK.

The do-it-all sports tourer has proved so popular that 184 were sold in January this year, beating it’s nearest rival, the Kawasaki ZX-6R, by 52 sales.

Sales in general were up 10 per cent compared to January last year with scooter sales still lagging and dragging down an impressive 13 per cent increase in bike sales.

The popularity of the VFR is held up by our own figures, which show that it was the fourth most searched for bike in our Bikes For Sale section last week, receiving 597 searches.
