Test ride the Piaggio MP3

Now it’s your chance to test ride Piaggio’s radical MP3 three-wheeled scooter.

   Piaggio is inviting you to come and test ride its MP3 on December 8-10 at its dealers across London.

   MCN had great fun getting to grips with three-wheeled oddity as we spent a day riding the scooter around central London.

   Tom Rayner, who test rode the MP3 for MCN, said: “With two-wheels at the front it’s impossible to low side the MP3 making it very stable on greasy, wet roads.

   “Once you’ve got your head around this curiosity, it feels just like a normal scooter and can be leant over at 40 degrees. You could even get your knee down!”

   The MP3 is available for £3,999 (125cc) and £4,299 (250cc) and is available from early 2007.
