Paris previews begin

1 of 1

Get ready for a rush of new metal – the exclusive previews to the season’s first big bike show – Paris – have begun.

The Paris Show will see the official launch of many of the machines you’ll find already photographed in our ‘The new bikes of 2006’ story – linked right.

But there are bound to be a few surprises too – and you can be the first in the world to discover them as we bring you live updates direct from the show and its preview events – starting on Wednesday evening September 28.

We’ll keep adding new links from the show throughout the event. See them appear, right. You’ll also find other New Bike updates from the show, as they happen, appearing in our News/New Bikes section.

The show (click here for its official site and online ticket booking) opens to the public on October 1 and runs until October 9.

But motorcyclenews.com will be arriving on the afternoon of the 28th – just in time for the first of the official launch bashes – Yamaha’s.

See the links right for the bikes we already know Yamaha has lined up for 2006. But now we are getting hints that there may be more to come… And there’s a rumour that a very special version of the MT-01 is looming.

Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda have launch events on the 29th, too – and we’ll be there to bring you fast updates from those as they happen. Suzukis we haven’t seen yet but are expecting include the new M105 Boulevard muscle cruiser.

On the 30th the show opens to the press – and through us, to you!

Make sure you’re a regular visitor to the site throughout and you won’t miss a thing.
