Italian scooter maker Piaggio has landed the deal to make the official England football team scooter.

The limited edition England NRG Power 50cc is inspired by the design of the new team strip, as England prepare to take on Azerbaijan on Wednesday night.

300 of the air-cooled scooters have been produced. They cost £1799 and each comes with an officially licensed England mini football, keyring and water bottle.

The firm is offering £249 TPFT insurance for 16-24 year olds, until April 30.

It’s not clear yet whether or not the Aston/Mercedes/Bentley-driving squad are ready to swop their megabucks four-wheelers for the convenience and jam-busting abilities of the team scooters.
