New Piaggio Zip

Piaggio has launched a new version of its basic 50cc Zip scooter.

The scooter has been updated with new styling and now gets the firms Hi-Per 4 four-stroke engine to make it more fuel-efficient.

It comes with a height adjustable seat that has room under it for a full-face lid as well as a glove box and bag hook on the front.

For £1099 you’ll get the Zip on the road with a two-year warranty.

Piaggio is also running a free insurance scheme on its 50cc NRG Power, Vespa LX50 and the Gilera Runner 50 and 125.

Buy any of these scooters before December 31 and you’ll get free third party cover or pay an extra £149 (£199 for the Runner) and get fire and theft cover as well.
