The firm says it will show a first prototype at the big German bike show and aims to have the bike in production in Spring 2005.

It’s expected to be called the MZ 1000N and make around 95bhp from its 1000cc parallel twin engine.

You can read the full story in this week’s issue of MCN – on sale from August 4.

The bike shares its running gear with the MZ 1000S sports bike.
