Supermoto gets GP-style injection

Cannondale has launched what it reckons is the world’s most advanced supermoto.

The S440 is a full race bike with an electronic fuel injection system you can adjust trackside with a lap top computer.

It also boasts an alloy beam frame and a reversed cylinder head similar like the motocross and enduro versions it’s derived from. It has the same 432cc four-stroke single-cylinder DOHC engine. But the ‘GP Control’ EFI system is new.

The bike also uses top-of-the-range Ohlins suspension front and rear and Brembo ‘wave’ discs.

Cannondale won’t say if it will be turned into a road bike.
