Malaguti to launch big scoot

Malaguti is the latest manufacturer to build a big scooter. It will be pitched against Aprilia’s Atlantic and Piaggio’s X9.
It has been in development for two years and will feature the same 460cc single-cylinder engine as the X9. It is also expected to be in the same price range, around £4500, and will be launched at the Munich Show in September.
Despite revealing two 600cc prototypes – the Super Climber and Café Racer – earlier this year, Malaguti has still to commit itself to building any big bikes.
