Hybris takes streamlining to extremes
Updated: 19 November 2014
It’s got bucket seats, will lean over as far as 45-degrees and is capable of well over 150mph… it’s the Hybris.
French firm Hybris Concept put the bike on display at Paris. It comes complete with a stereo and heating as well as a roll bar… and stabilisers.
The stabilisers come down when speeds drop below 10mph and are self-raising as soon as speeds rise above 10mph. So there should be no embarrassing toppling over moments.
Those familiar with the Ecomobile will be familiar with the streamlined, feet-forward concept, and the high prices that it tends to attract.
This one, powered by a CBR1000 engine, costs more than £20,000.
