New scooters from Italjet and She-Lung

Italjet’s retro-meets-future-styled Jet-Set will be available here in August and there will be a 50cc too. And the Taiwanese Freespirit scooter is also available now.

The Jet-Set is expected to be the cheapest Italjet scooter, although the price has not yet been set. It will be available in either metallic silver, black or blue.

Billingworth says the 50cc bike will cost less than £1750 and hopes the 125 version will be around £2000.

Meanwhile, Italjet’s 250cc Jupiter, powered by the engine from Yamaha’s YP250 Majesty scooter, is now in stock and will be available from dealers within days. The Jupiter will cost £3850.

Meanwhile the Freespirit is coming to us from Taiwanese firm She-Lung – a subsidiary of Sym. It is only available in silver and will cost £1899 on the road.
