Exclusive interview: Andrea Iannone is back in WSBK. How does he think that will go?

Andrea Iannone smiles when he starts telling me how he felt in Jerez de la Frontera when he first sat on the Go Eleven Ducati Panigale V4R, the bike he will race with in the 2024 World Superbike Championship.

“It is like the first laps I did when my brother was eight and started racing and I, who was six and too young, could only ride on Fridays. The enthusiasm back then is the same as today. In Jerez I just wanted to have fun. The first lap, the first run, the first day. Under my helmet I was laughing like a three-year-old child. And that’s exactly what I was looking for.”
