A bruising season opener saw Bagnaia stamp his authority, but four riders left hurt. Pol Espargaro came off worst of all with a broken jaw and multiple broken vertebrae, whilst Bastianini broke his collarbone. Marc Marquez, meanwhile, ran into Miguel Oliveira, causing injuries for both.
