Last week would have seen Britain’s last premier class champion celebrate his 73rd birthday.

Instead, 2023 marks 20 years since we lost the great Barry Sheene – arguably this country’s most legendary motorcycle racer.

He won 23 Grand Prix races and two 500cc world championships, making him one of the greatest riders of his generation.
