Remarkably, there is still a chance that the Indian Grand Prix won’t run.

As MCN went to press, the circuit had not yet gone through the final homologation process, which can be done as late as this Thursday (September 21).

There is concern amongst riders regarding the lack of information they’re receiving about safety improvements and updates being made.

This is despite them asking multiple times to see the work being carried out.

The safety commission first visited the circuit last November, with FIM Safety Officer Tome Alfonso recently telling MotoGP.com that they requested less asphalt and more gravel run-offs at multiple corners, and to maximise the run-off areas on safety grounds…
