In this week’s Workshop feature, our expert technician Bruce takes you through a cheeky way to drop your wheels, so you can save money when having your tyres changed.

Get set for action

Knowing how to remove your bike’s wheels at home will save time and money when it comes to tyre change time, and will also allow you to clean those hard-to-reach areas. Before you start, get your tools together. You’ll need a breaker bar, torque wrench, Allen key adaptor and sockets ranging from anywhere between 17, 19, 22 and 24mm.
