Cadwell BSB preview: A mountain to climb...

Here are five things to watch out for as the BSB riders prepare for airtime at the wonderful Cadwell Park…

  1. O’Halloran’s new hope

Jason O’Halloran has a glimmer of hope in the title race after bagging an incredible treble at Thruxton. Ducati’s struggles helped the Aussie halve the deficit to Tommy Bridewell in the championship to 50.5 points and now he has the confidence, bike feel and momentum heading into the business end of the season.

O’Halloran knows the final four rounds won’t be as straight forward for him – or as bad for Ducati – but Yamaha do have a good record at Cadwell.

In fact, no other manufacturer has more wins (16) with Bradley Ray bagging one victory last year and O’Halloran himself picking up a single win alongside two podiums in 2022.

He has the bit between his teeth and as he told MCN at Thruxton, “We’re on the front foot now and going on the attack, so we’ll see what we can do.”

2. Ducati duel it out
